Race 9 Day 10; Santa Cruz to Panama

1. The Food - The food has been unbelievable, lots of healthy meals and plenty of it!

2. The Racing - The racing has been very different, you get the feeling of comfort (as much as you can on a yacht) and a “laid back” attitude, but at the same time everyone is really into racing hard and I think that the balance is just right.

3. The Skipper - Rob is an awesome guy, he has the best attitude and a good relationship with the crew. Rob has a way in which he can slow things down and make it easier when it comes to a manoeuvre yet the manoeuvre is done at a racing speed and safely.

4. The Crew - The best way I can describe sailing with the Nova Scotia crew is, it’s like sailing with your family and friends. They sail hard and work hard but at the same time they have fun. They take care of each other and are always making sure you have eaten properly and drink plenty.

5. The Boat - Nova Scotia is a very tidy boat; she has her little problems like most boats but she has a great aura on board.

It’s been a pleasure sailing on Nova Scotia with Rob and the crew and we are having a great time visiting lovely places and experiencing the wide open oceans. If we never get a first place podium finish (which of course we will! lol) at least we have had a great time sailing, seen some amazing wildlife and sightsand made good friends.

Thank You Guys!"

Dan
