Scarlet Oyster latest results

16.43pm - The young people who have just completed the JPMorgan Asset Management Round the Island Race on Scarlet Oyster were thrilled to find they are currently 14th in their class, 48th in group and 248 overall.  Now they are back at their berth in UKSA and relaxing after waking at 4am then spending 8 hours and 23 minutes racing around the Island.  Ross admitted it was hard work but "It was excellent fun, I loved every minute of it.  Gordon was an excellent skipper and everyone made it the best trip yet."

Maxine summed her race up in three words "Fun, fantastic, wet!!!"  Gemma had no bad things to say, "It was all good', and Robert described the day as "Fandabidozi" even though he was looking forward to relaxing now the race is over.  Spirit and Elektra are still on the water and are both heading towards Portsmouth to tack back to the finish line.  The walkers are currently near Gatcombe in the centre of the Island and have been walking for a gruelling 11 hours so far.
